Norda

Inspired by the power of Canadian nature

History

Norda is a Canadian trail running shoe brand founded in 2021 by Nicholas and Willamina Martire, two passionate runners. Their vision was to create a trail shoe that combined exceptional performance and durability, without compromise.

Based in Quebec, between Montreal and the Eastern Townships, the brand has drawn inspiration from the harsh Canadian climate to design products that can withstand extreme temperatures, from -35°C to +35°C. The flagship model, the norda™ 001, is the result of this ambition, incorporating innovative and eco-responsible materials, such as Dyneema, known for its lightness and robustness.

From its launch, Norda has distinguished itself through its commitment to durability and performance, redefining the standards of trail running.

With these models, Norda continues to push the boundaries of trail performance while focusing on sustainability and sustainability.

Technologies

Norda relies on cutting-edge technologies to design high-performance, durable trail shoes that are suitable for extreme conditions. Its flagship innovation is the use of Dyneema®, an ultra-resistant and lightweight fiber that reinforces the upper of the shoes while providing optimal flexibility.

The midsole incorporates Vibram® SLE foam, which provides excellent cushioning and efficient energy return. For traction, Norda teams up with Vibram® with the Mega Grip outsole, ensuring exceptional grip on all types of terrain. Some models, such as the Norda 001 G+, also incorporate Graphene G+ technology, which improves thermoregulation and water resistance while being eco-friendly.

Finally, the brand focuses on sustainable manufacturing processes, minimizing the environmental impact while ensuring high-level performance for the most demanding trail runners.
