Behind the Design
Eliud Kipchoge explains that achieving his dream isn't a solitary endeavor, so we used his community to design this shoe. His family influenced the choice of colors and the multi-style Swoosh logo, which represents the strength behind a team. The inscription "No human is limited" refers to the infinite possibilities that a support network provides.
FEATURES
A full-length carbon fiber Flyplate with a steeper angle than the Vaporfly 3. The heel-to-toe drop is also less pronounced. This shoe provides an exceptional feeling of propulsion on race day.
We've lightened the Nike ZoomX, our most responsive foam. From heel to toe, it guarantees better energy return thanks to a slightly reduced midsole, for more responsiveness and lightness.
The woven mesh makes the shoe lighter while providing more even support. We've also reduced the size of the heel and tongue for even greater lightness.
The reinforced midsole at the heel reduces weight on the inside of the foot and produces a more stable stride. The outsole has been lightened by using a thinner rubber compared to the Vaporfly 3.
